Hi there,

Thanks for the help from my last post.
I have no pretty much finished recording the big stuff...12" and albums.
Obviously I have listened to some of it, but not all.
Some of the vinyl does have drop outs and parts where the recording has not worked fantastically.
Does anyone know of any software or any other way to check the recordings?

Obvioulsy short of listening to it all again....

Thanks
Steve

Not personally.

I tend to listen to it and re-record from vinyl again till it's right. Do you know why you are getting drop-outs ?

Thanks for the response.
It mainly the hassle of listening to every record at least twice...after doing around a 1000 12" and albums, listening to them all again....!

The drop outs appear to be fairly random. Middle of songs...I think it was before I upgraded my RAM. I may try and look at them via some wave software?

Whatabout viewing the waveforn in somethinglike Soundforge, Nero Audio Editor or one of those type programs, you`ll be able to see any gaps and instantly listen to that portion to hear if the gap is an error or a normal part of the track.
