Quite a few months ago now. FF2 did nothing for me but 3 hit all the right buttons.

Some of the add-ons I couldn't be without now.

I understand IE8 will soon appear in the Microsoft update lists ?

It already has, a few weeks ago, but that's probably because I had the beta version installed.

Somebody told me that you should completely uninstall the beta before installing the final but I just let it run the update and it seems to be working OK. I don't use it much so haven't had much experience with it. The Compatibility Mode thingy was a pain though. Can't remember what the default setting was but when I disabled it it worked fine. Also noticed that if you do have the default disabled it shows up as IE7 in referrer logs. hmm

BTW I'm currently using works IE version and unlike my FF3 it doesn't have a spel chequer. Can you tell? teeth

Nope smile

The only reason I use IE7 is that the Abbey bank doesn't like FF3x

As long as IE8 works with the Abbey then fine, if it doesn't I'm stuffed.

I've got the English dictionary with spellcheck, Flagfox, Met Office, Colourful Tabs, AdBlock Plus and a few others I can't remember from the office (where we are still on IE6)
