Yo...can anyone tell me if a good sound card will make any difference when i record my vinyl thru Soundforge and then rip to CD? I currentley use the PCs soundcard, i have a Compaq presario S5100uk..And if so, what is the sound card that i require..thanks

A good soundcard can make an enormous difference. Depends on how good the s/c you already have is and the rest of your equipment and the state of your vinyl.

Decide whether you want an internal or external soundcard. Anything my M-audio will be ok.
