Discovery Channel
A channel slot opened up on Freeview recently, and in October 2008, it's been confirmed that a channel from the Discovery stable will be coming to Freeview in early 2009. The channel won't be branded as Discovery, and will be free-to-view.

CNN / Nuts TV
CNN is to join Freeview on Thursday 15th January 2009. The service replaces Nuts TV. CNN will be available on Freeview channel 84 every day from 9pm to 1am.

Price drop TV
Price Drop TV is to vanish from Freeview in January 2009. The Freeview contract expires on 5th January 2009 but you can still watch price-drop on Sky 645, Virgin TV 741, Freesat 801 and online.

Quest
A place holder for the channel Quest TV has appeared on Freeview channel 47. The channel comes from the Discovery group of channels. No further information is currently available.

Rock & Co
Jewellery shopping channel Rocks & Co is set to be joining the Freeview line-up shortly. The channel will broadcast from 4pm to 9pm daily. Date and channel number to be confirmed.

Russia Today
Russia Today TV is set to join the Freeview line-up. The service is already available on Sky Digital and Freesat, and offers an English-language service from Russia's state owned news agency RIA-Novosti. It's likely that Russia Today TV will only broadcast for a few hours a day. We're not aware of a launch date.

Dave + 1
Dave is about to have a "Plus 1" time shift added to Freeview, handy for if you'd like a repeat of a repeat. The service should appear on Freeview on the 22nd January 2009, from 8am to 4am.
