Just when you think everything is running smoothly something screws up your day again!

I don't know if this is Vista, McAfee or MS Outlook but I can no longer click links in HTML e-mails. I get the message displayed below.

What really hacks me off about Vista is this "Administrator" business. It's my PC. Who the hell does it expect me to contact? Stupid ******** operating system!

Well after reinstalling M$ Office, resetting everything back to Default and still not having any luck I finally found the answer by poking around in the Control Panel. I eventually found it in Default Programs (on Vista Home Premium). On this page there are four options, one of which is "Set Program Access and Computer Defaults". Changing the option from "Custom" to "Microsoft Windows" and selecting "Use my correct Microsoft e-mail Program" did the trick. I don't exactly know why but Outlook is now working again as it should.

Also now within Microsoft Office is an area called the 'Trust Centre' or probably 'Trust Center' knowing their spelling errors smile

Initially my Norton AntiSpam would not work until I found that Norton had been put into the 'not trusted' area within it.

Easily rectified but made me chuckle. Also the geezers at the Norton helpdesk (India) hadn't got a clue - typical

Microsoft don't trust Norton lol
