Editing a single file from a folder:Find the MP3 that you want to edit and open it with Winamp. If Winamp is your default player for MP3s then double clicking on the file will open it into Winamp automatically. If not, click the button to the left of the 123 button which will open a directory window.

Once the MP3 has been loaded simply double click anywhere in the "track info" area to open the ID3 tag editor. This can be selected when the track is playing or stopped.

In the File Info area you have the choice of ID3 version 1 & 2 tags and the addition of the Auto-Tag feature. The Auto-Tag feature works by connecting to an external database and trying to match up the information of your MP3 to that stored on the database. When you click the Auto-Tag button it will attempt to find the most suitable match for your MP3 and automatically complete the ID3 tag fields. If the information supplied is not correct you can always enter the information manually. Once you have done this and clicked OK the information entered is automatically passed through to the ID3v1 & ID3v2 tags.
If preferred You can bypass Auto-Tag all together and just enter the information manually in to the ID3v1 & ID3v2 tags. You can copy from one to the other by placing a check mark in the ID3v2 Tag box and selecting Copy to ID3v1 or Copy from ID3v2. When you have finished editing, click OK and you're done.

The Artwork tag works in the same way as the Auto-Tag, getting it's information from an external database. I the image supplied is incorrect you can Delete it and select Download Art to search for the correct artwork. You can also add your own manually.
Editing a file from the Media Library:Editing the ID3 tag is exactly the same as above. The Media Library allows you to open files by using the right-click menu.
To open the Media Library click the button at the bottom right.

If you don't have any files listed you can add them by clicking the Library button (bottom left) and selecting "Add Media to Library".
Locate the file that you want to edit, right-click to open the menu and select "View file info". This will take you to the ID3 tag editor as described above.
