hello everyone,
im having a bit of bother with freecorder 3 toolbar. I am trying to use it to record streamed audio, however, instead of storing the resulting mp3 files as one long file it stores them as lots of small files. For example i recorded a stream of about 30 minutes in length but when i went to 'my recordings' the stream showed as about 25 different files some were a few minutes long others contained nothing.
I hope you can help
thanks

According to Freecoder:
Quote:
Eliminates Silence

Freecorder Toolbar starts recording when it first detects audio, and stops when audio stops. Now you never have "dead air" at the start and end of your recording - it's perfect every time!
I don't know if this is what is happening.

Also, check your settings:

Try a recording in WAV format. WAVs are much easier to write to your hard drive as there is no complession involved. Writing to MP3 may cause the PC to stall as it is a much more CPU intensive process.
