Is this the Windows Live OneCare that repeatedly comes bottom in the independent tests?

According to the tests and results the problem with Live OneCare is that it is not being kept up to date by M$. It passes most of the tests with old viruses but the newer ones almost always get through.

Shame really.

M$ rushing in to things to try and corner every niche in the market again.

Have you tried Vista yet? I'm sure I have the beta version! No doubt there'll be a patch available soon to clean up all the bugs.

My daughter has Vista Home Premium on her PC and at the moment it's OK.

The worst problem was trying to get it to see the XP PC on the LAN.

Cracked it in the end - good old Norton blocking IP addresses not specifically put into its Trust Centre (or Trust Center as they spell it).
