Find the MP3 that you want to edit and open it with Winamp. If Winamp is your default player for MP3s then double clicking on the file will open it into Winamp automatically. If not, click the button to the left of the PL button which will open a directory window.



Once the MP3 has been loaded simply double click anywhere in the "track info" area to open the ID3 tag editor. This can be selected when the track is playing or stopped.



In this area you have the choice of ID3 version 1 & 2 tags. You can copy from one to the other by placing a check mark in the ID3v2 Tag box and selecting Copy to ID3v1 or Copy from ID3v2. When you have finished editing, click Update and you're done.
