exscuse the colloquialism American friends [and toolers from around elsewhere around the globe]

Plonker = someone who orders his first DVD-writer and FORGETS to order DVD BLANKS cry cry
Anyway just confirms what I thought - I know nothind about DVD.
So Question - I want to burn DVDaudio and general backup stuff, so what type of dvd and make should I buy? preferably white printable ones ie DVD+ DVD-. Oh! and just recordable probably not RW

Thanks guys; if you can get back 2 me quick I can maybe modify my order with SVP smile

Pioneer 108. Been using -r since I got it and no real problems at all. I`ve found Datawrite and Ritek to be reliable. Mind you, I`ve used a number of different brands and not found any that stood out as poor.
I`ve never tried +r as I`ve not needed to.
hope this helps
