Thanx MJB I`ll take a look. Trouble with DBX is it`s dynamic and uses its own algorithms. It uses Pre-emphasis and noise reduction together and requires the exact opposite of both to recover the track. I`ll have a play and see if I can replicate the

I think adding another external amp into the equation will just confuse matters. Personally I would keep things separate. Use an amp for TV and just add speakers to your existing 5.1 / 7.1 sound card for the PC. You might have to go a little further
